This is one of my favourite summer dishes. It's packed with veggies and is super fresh tasting!Add a comment
I've been trying to master a baked falafel for a long time now! I've always found that a fried falafel will come out lovely and fluffy and remain beautifully moist, but when you bake a falafel it dries out terribly.
Because baking falafels makes a healthier option, I've been playing around with some additional ingredients to make them moist when baked. The two ingredients that have worked wonderfully are juice pulp and spinach.Add a comment
It's a stunning 31º spring day here in Perth, so I thought I'd whip up something a little more fresh and summery for my evening dinner.
I've been going through a few health issues recently which has resulted in me having to eliminate gluten from my diet. Even though I don't eat that much gluten, it's meant I've had to rethink a few of my staple meals and made eating out a little tricky.Add a comment
It might technically be spring but there's still a nip in air, which means I have a few more weeks eating delicious winter veggies.
At the moment I've been eating a lot of beetroot in many forms: juice, slaws, soups or in hummus.Add a comment
Bolognese was always one of my favourite meal as a child, I found it incredibly comforting and I still do.Add a comment
Autumn is officially upon us! The duvet is back on the bed and there's a chill in the morning air.
This can mean only one thing - butternut season is almost here. Butternut is quite possibly my favourite vegetable and during autumn/winter I eat it a lot, much to my boyfriends disgust - he isn't a fan of butternut!Add a comment
Spicy Cauliflower Tacos
Eating a plant-based diet means that Mexican style food is often on the menu. When done correctly it's super fresh, clean and packed with spicy tangy flavour!
This is a little recipe I came up with (inspired by some beautiful Pintrest recipes) and it's oh so delicious if I say so myself- spicy cauliflower tacos with guacamole, tomato salsa and 'sour cream'.Add a comment
Rosemary and Pistachio Pesto
My rosemary plants have gone wild!
I perhaps got a little over zealous with my love for the herb and planted five of them around the garden. After all the winter rainfall they've tripled in size and now I'm not sure what to do with all the rosemary.Add a comment
